After years of owning on the mountain, we decided to sell our chalet on Fosters Place in the fall of 2023. Fosters Place is one of the most desirable locations on Mount Washington and we wanted to make sure we maximized its value when we sold it. The market conditions were not as strong as they were the previous three years so we wanted to make sure that person was an expert on Mount Washington real estate. We interviewed a couple of the ‘mountain’ realtors and after careful consideration, we chose Ryan to represent us. Within days, Ryan had the property staged to sell and he hired a professional for photos, floor plans and an amazing promotional video. A couple of days after being the market, we accepted an offer. When that offer was starting collapse, Ryan reached out to other realtors and we were able to secure an offer for a higher price from the new owners. We could not be happier with the effort, advice and expertise Ryan provided through the process. When we decided to take the plunge and purchase on Mt Washington, literally every friend and/or current owner recommended Ryan. As we’d never lived or rented in the village or surrounding condos, Ryan was a huge help in bringing us up to speed on the ins and outs of each area.
When we couldn’t make the drive up to view a place, Ryan went right up there and took a thorough video walkthrough for us. When we needed to manually hand deliver a cheque and drive up island, Ryan met us half way. When I’d text Ryan to ask about things during the process of closing, he was patient and quick to help. Looking at any of Ryan’s listings you can see right away he isn’t just mailing it in, they’re well written and have great photos/videos attached.
Bottom line: Ryan went above and beyond, and continues to do so. He’s the most tech-friendly realtor as well, from walk through videos, to video updates on the current market every month. He knows the mountain well, is well-connected, is honest, and gives back to the community. We don’t anticipate selling for many years but he’d be our guy if we do.

We hired Ryan to sell our log chalet in the Alpine Village in the fall of 2020. We based our decision on a referral from other owners on the mountain and the positive feeling after meeting him casually in the Village. We had listed our place with a different realtor but after a year and some hiccups we had not got anywhere; but Ryan had a sale within a few months and was a pleasure to deal with. In the fall of 2015, we hired Ryan Williams to market and sell our family’s chalet on Mount Washington.
